Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the battery-based pendant light combines a classic, understated design with maximum flexibility. The cable that connects the shade with the battery pack can be hung from or wound around trees, beams, banisters, windows or doors to position the lamp as required. At the same time, the removable battery pack serves as both a visual and functional counterweight. The integrated LED module produces an output of up to 800 lumens; the lamp is switched on or off and dimmed by means of a gesture sensor.

Jury
Submitted as a prototype, the luminaire is based on the idea of a cordless light source that can be used anywhere and is easy to move from one place to another. Although the design language takes its cues from the principle of the classic pendant light, in this case the counterweight doubles as the power source.
