The manufacturer, a specialist in office furniture castors, is launching the MOVE ecostar, a new range of castors that minimises the use of native plastics and lowers the carbon emissions of the entire product by 40 percent. The base material is mechanically recycled industrial polyamide waste, sourced from certified regional partners. All recycling and processing is undertaken in Germany. The castors are fully compatible with existing production processes and integrate seamlessly into established product ranges in terms of visual appearance, durability and functionality.
JURY STATEMENT
Relaunching a proven product with a focus on circularity and the use of recycled materials is a commendable approach. It also proves that it can be done without compromising quality or design. It is a modern example of sustainable product management.
