The manufacturer has spent years developing new technologies to optimise both its products and its manufacturing processes – with the ultimate goal of achieving carbon-neutral production. All of its new products have been designed to last at least 20 years. The housing of this compact downlight is made from recycled aluminium and the lens from recycled acrylic glass. The highly energy-efficient recessed LED luminaire has an output of over 140 lumens per watt and two light colours. It can be fitted without tools, mounts flush to the ceiling and can be dimmed with DALI or Casambi Bluetooth control systems.
JURY STATEMENT
This clean, precisely fashioned luminaire has strong green credentials and a clear system concept. It shows that recycled materials can be used to create high-quality, technically advanced products without having to compromise on quality.
