With a maximum height of 90 metres and a maximum jib length of 78 metres, the top-slewing crane is one of the biggest in the flat-top category. The absence of an apex above the slewing platform is particularly advantageous on cramped construction sites with several cranes working alongside one another. The optimisation of the supporting structure and the option of using a lightweight fibre rope reduces the crane’s moving mass and improves performance. Thanks to the more compact construction of the slewing platform, jib and counter-jib, two trucks fewer than before are needed to transport them.
The design has devoted a great deal of attention to the cabin – especially its ergonomic qualities, the field of view and the operating logic. Due to the dynamic lines of the cabin and jib, the eye-catching colour signature and the ample advertising space on the counter-jib, the crane cuts a striking figure when seen from a distance.

Jury
The crane makes very effective use of the limited creative scope available when designing such highly functional machinery. In particular, the cabin – which is often only a bought-in part – has clearly been revisited: while the interior provides a humanised working environment, its exterior surfaces send clear branding signals. Even the ballast elements have been integrated into the design.
