New forms of urban mobility call both for new concepts and for new variations on existing means of transport. Inspired by cabin scooters from the 1950s, the Microlino combines the advantages of a motorcycle with those of a car. With a standard range of 125 kilometres and a top speed of 90 km/h, it’s specially designed for daily journeys like commuting to work or shopping. The Microlino can be fully charged at a normal household socket in just four hours. The boot contains a special highlight: an integrated micro scooter for the last mile from the car park to the final destination.

Jury
Nimble and compact vehicles are the key to urban mobility, not long ranges. The retro design picks up on familiar and emotionally appealing forms and has an appropriately playful and friendly charm that may well increase acceptance. Aggressive-looking elements have been deliberately avoided.
