It’s not just children who like to play – this little ovoid’s shape and the pleasant feel of its wooden surface will appeal to people of all ages. But the “plaything” is much more than a finely crafted palm stone: putting it down and giving it a gentle tap reveals unforeseen inner qualities. Then Eggi comes to life, moves autonomously and even manages to stand upright. A simple play idea thus provides an interesting conversation starter and might even encourage users to reflect on physical phenomena. From the design to the finished product, the plaything is made in Germany with a focus on sustainability.

Jury
A very simple thing, somehow. But once set in motion, it surprises users with its idiosyncratic movements – a plaything that doesn’t fit into any of the traditional toy categories and will make even adults want to play with it. The wooden object’s velvety, perfect finish is no less fascinating.
