Generally speaking, companies with an international presence and diversified business units struggle with the consistency of their brand’s visual identity. That’s why Bosch has developed an online guide that staff and external service providers can access immediately; user-specific direct entry points provide a fast route to the appropriate building blocks and guidelines. The materials include style guides, icons and templates for printed materials, trade show appearances and digital presentations, as well as front end kits for designing websites or interfaces. The central brand and design platform decreases the duplication of work and reduces both application errors and the use of obsolete guidelines, thereby safeguarding the company’s identity and image. The development of the online guide is based on a comprehensive UX survey and usability testing.
