The touch panel communicates via the KNX standard and is used to control various functions in the smart home. The control concept is based on the gestures learned from smartphones and provides intuitive access to functions or entire room scenarios. An integrated sensor activates the panel when it detects somebody approaching, another sensor adapts the backlighting of the display to the brightness in the room. Thanks to a special flush-mounted box, the rectangular panel only protrudes 11 millimetres from the surface of the wall and can be fitted vertically or horizontally.

Jury
The meticulous design extends beyond the slender, brushed stainless steel frame of the hardware to the interface itself, which features crystal clear and self-explanatory icons. Besides simplifying usage, that also benefits the control panel’s longevity.
