Specially developed for private living spaces, the pendant luminaire is equally suitable for hotel lounges and restaurants. Besides conjuring up atmospheric islands of light with its glare-free and almost invisible light source, it provides acoustic benefits too thanks to the moulded fleece that covers its underside. The small high-performance LEDs that are integrated into the pad are equipped with free-form lenses that produce an output of up to 5,000 lumens. The colour temperature can be varied from warm to neutral white. LEDs are also integrated into the elaborately moulded wooden upper side of the luminaire and cast a pleasant, indirect glow on the ceiling. Different colour options for the acoustic fleece and various types of wood provide plenty of scope for individual preferences.

Jury
Despite its large diameter, which is necessary for acoustic reasons, the pendant lamp makes an extremely slender and subtle impression. The visible acoustic material is part of the design concept, as is the wooden upper side – an interesting contrast of materials. And while unsatisfactory canopies are the norm, this one is as immaculate as the luminaire itself.
