The series of housings was developed with the goal of simplifying the installation of electrical wiring in concrete ceilings or walls. The housings, which can be equipped with a dock-on universal tunnel, are placed on the formwork and attached with nails, adhesive or a magnetic insert. In the next step, the conduits for the cable routing are laid. The conduits are pushed through the openings, which are sealed with TPE membranes, and automatically fixed in place inside the housing by a grip that ensures reliable strain relief. Concrete-tight and walkable, the housings are suitable for both cast-in-place and precast concrete. Once the ceiling slab is finished, the front plate on the underside of the ceiling is removed ready for the installation of cables, lamps, speakers or other recessed devices.
The design uses curved surfaces and the corporate colour to create interesting accents and indicate the entry points for the conduits.
Jury
A thoroughly user-centric product that more than meets the requirements for the agile installation of electrical wiring – and uses colour to make the conduit entry points immediately recognisable. The orange is an element of the corporate design and strengthens the brand’s visibility in the tough everyday context of the construction site.
