Third talk on art & design

After the second talk at the Württemberg State Museum, the final event in the series will take place (in German) on 31 March 2022 with Baden-Württemberg’s arts and crafts association BdK (Bund der Kunsthandwerker Baden-Württemberg).
The talk will be moderated by Prof. Justus Theinert.
The topic: what impetus can arts and crafts provide for current and future design issues? Craftspeople talk to Prof. Justus Theinert about the value of workmanship, the analogue qualities of artistry and craftsmanship and the future of creative work.

Exhibition: Otl Aicher – 100 Years 100 Posters 

HfG-Archiv Ulm/ Studio HfG, 

26.03.2022 to 08.01.2023

Throughout his life (13 May 1922, Ulm – 1 September 1991, Günzburg), posters were Otl Aicher’s preferred medium for conveying advertising messages and social commentary. In honour of his 100th birthday, the HfG-Archiv is presenting an exhibition that embodies his entire work in 100 posters. Having been bequeathed Otl Aicher’s artistic legacy, the HfG-Archiv is in possession of the key documents, papers and records relating to his extensive output as a communication designer. The exhibition consists exclusively of posters, thus permitting a deep insight into the work and interests of Otl Aicher.
